1. About Chand Baori
- Location:Abhaneri, Dausa district, Rajasthan, approximately 95 km from Jaipur.
- History: Built in the 9th century by King Chand of the Nikumbha Dynasty, Chand Baori is one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India, with 3,500 narrow steps arranged in a perfect symmetry over 13 stories and a depth of about 30 meters.

- By Road: Chand Baori is around 230 km from Delhi, and the journey takes about 5-6 hours. You can drive or hire a taxi for a comfortable journey.- By Train:You can take a train from Delhi to Dausa, which takes about 3-4 hours. From Dausa, hire a taxi or take a bus to Abhaneri.
- From Agra:
- By Road: The distance is approximately 170 km, taking about 3-4 hours. It is accessible via the Yamuna Expressway and NH21.![]() |
